free webspace with their internet connection service.
To use this free space with your Domain
name you need DNS services and this is the beginning of the extra
monthly charges, around $15.00/m.
E-mail accounts are usually limited in number and additional e-mail
accounts are a monthly extra.
Advance Server Side scripting engines, such as PHP, or DB storage
capabilities are not available and if so, monthly extra's.
Be sure to ask if there are any set up fees. There shouldn't be
any.
Ask how long it takes before you will be up and running. This
is a good indicator of the hosting companies competence and service
standards. Anything more than a day should be a concern. Call
them to see how quickly you get a representative or how quickly
they call you back.
Where is there market/service priority? Domain owners with websites
or young people and $100/month cell phone bills?
